As we begin the new year.  I would like to thank the community for its ongoing support of Morton in the past.

As we look to the future, this year will be a significant and momentous occasion for Morton because of the opening of its new facility in the Lansing Business Park district.  We are scheduled to open the building in summer/fall 2006.

With the new office, Morton will be able to increase its services offered and its service delivery to more patients in northeastern Oklahoma.  We are excited and hope you are too.  Together, we will improve health care coverage and resources to those who are in greatest need for better health and better lives.

Our mission is to provide quality healthcare and services to northeastern Oklahoma, especially to the uninsured and underinsured and the most vulnerable citizens in our community.

The incredible history of Morton and its services to the community dates back to 1921 as Willows Hospital.  A rich history that will be of great value to us as we prepare for continued healthcater delivery in Oklahoma in the 21st century.

As we look at the past with anticipation of a more exciting future and as we plan to move into a new 60,000 square foot facility, I invite you to join and attend in the celebration.  The board of directors and management are planning to host grand opening events at the new site.

Additionally, we are simultaneously planning to build a new 6,000 square foot facility in Nowata.  We would like to invite you too to be part of those events as well.

The new year is expected to be very exciting for the board of directors, management, staff and patients of Morton with new facilities, more medical services to be offered and more patients to serve.

Again, I would like to thank you for your past support of the mission of Morton.  I look forward to your continued support in the new year.
